Sterisol has received Silver in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, and the assessment has shown that we belong to the 90th percentile within our category. Therefore, we are part of the top 10% ranking. We are happy with the result but we continue to work purposefully to become even more sustainable!
EcoVadis is one of the largest organizations issuing sustainability ratings for companies. Since its founding in 2007, they have evaluated over 100,000 companies worldwide. In the assessment process, each company is scrutinized in four comprehensive areas: Environmental sustainability, Labor and human rights, Ethical sustainability, and Sustainable procurement. It is the overall score achieved that determines the result, which means that every company aiming for a high rating needs to integrate sustainable choices throughout the entire company.
Sterisol has been certified in the category of Manufacture of soap and detergents, cleaning and polishing preparations, perfumes, and toiletries, and therefore we have been compared to other companies in the same category in the result. There are also other categories and niche assessment points that are specifically tailored to fit other industries. For example companies whose primary business is other chemical agents or paper tissue.
